Just nine of the scheduled 30 fixtures went ahead as the Doncaster Sunday Alliance League programme was decimated by the weather.

Waterlogged pitches resulted in both League Cup fourth round ties being called off and all three Premier League games suffered the same fate on the worst day of the 2013-14 campaign.

The Championship fared best of the five divisions with four of the six games going ahead.

Balby Academy of Sport regained top spot on goal difference after FC Glasshouse were beaten by the weather and they won 3-0 at Three Horseshoes.

Third-placed Wheatsheaf won 4-3 at lowly Park Social to claim their 13th victory in 20 starts.

Auckley strengthened their grip on fourth place with a 3-2 win over fifth-placed Leger Lions.

Armthorpe Albion dished out a 4-0 beating to bottom club Askern Railway.

Walton Wonderers climbed into second place in Division One with an impressive 4-1 win at leaders Rossington United, who had previously dropped just four points all season.

Campsall climbed into the top four after sharing the spoils with second-bottom Armthorpe Village following their 4-4 draw.

Bessacarr posted a comfortable 7-1 win at Rossington Legion.

The entire Division Two programme was called off, but two games survived in Division Three.

FC Wadworth, who have played two games more, moved five points clear of long-time leaders Winning Post, on the back of their 4-0 win over bottom club Bentley West End.

Rhino’s United moved within a point of Winning Post thanks to a 5-2 win over FC Ivanhoe.
