A promising dressage rider will be working with one of the best in the business to help her national sporting quest.
Haxey’s Rebecca Blackman, 16, will train with Darryl Thickitt, an England international who also trains fellow Isle resident Amanda Barratt.
The John Leggott College student, who was the highest scoring British Dressage Northern Region rider in qualifying, and her horse Broomfield Phoenix will be performing at the National Schools Equestrian Association in October.
