A trio of players are expected to exit Castle Park, The Star understands.

Having confirmed a healthy retained list of players ahead of their 2014-15 campaign, it looks likely the National One winners will be leading their Championship charge without full-back Glenn Bryce, second rower Mike Walker-Fitton and hooker Roberto Santamaria.

Several of last season’s match-winners are currently in on-going contract talks, including the club’s top try-scorer Tyson Lewis, kicking ace Jamie Lennard and the returning Richard List.

The Star understands that Scotsman Bryce, who left Jersey for Doncaster last year, will be returning to his homeland with Glasgow expected to land the pacy back.

Meanwhile, Walker-Fitton is unlikley to be putting on a Knights shirt next season following an injury-plagued campaign and Santamaria, who arrived for the 2013-14 season from northern Italy where he captained Italian Premier side Viadana, is also believed to be exiting Doncaster.

The Knights have confirmed that 10 players are entering the second year of their existing contracts, who are: Bevon Armitage, Matt Challinor, Colin Phillips, Dougie Flockhart, Glen Kenworthty, Paul Roberts, Ross Davies, Tom Davies, Phil Eggleshaw and Will Foden

Youngster Jack Bergmanas has signed a one-year deal with Ben Hunter, Mat Clark, Paul Jarvis and Michael Hills penning two-year contracts.

Argentina scrum-half - and a Knights fans’ favourite - Bruno Bravo is also set to enter the second year of his two-year deal.
