The first session was held last week and over 20 children turned up to take part.
The sessions will be held every Wednesday from 6-8pm and are free to all children between the ages of eight and 18, a consent form will need to be completed.
For older children there will be an opportunity to do some volunteering to work towards a qualification.
Councillor Paul McCartan, vice chairman of Eastoft Community Welfare Association, said: “As we work towards getting a new playground it’s great news to be able to bring more activities for the younger people in this village and surrounding area and judging by the first session it looks like it will be a great success.
“We would like to pay particular tribute to David Boreham from Street Sports who has been instrumental in making this happen.”
