GET ready for Friday Knight Lights at Castle Park next season.
In a bid to boost attendances and revenue, the Knights have opted to switch home games to Friday evenings, avoiding clashes with Rovers and several race meetings at nearby Town Moor.
Director of rugby Brett Davey believes the move will ensure a fantastic atmosphere each game.
He said: “It’s always great to play under the lights and I know the supporters enjoy it to.
“It’s just a fact of life right now that you’ve got to do what you can to make money and this is a sensible move for the club to take.
“We operate with one of the lowest budgets in the Championship and if there is a way to boost that then we’ll explore it.
“For now it’ll ensure a great atmosphere and hopefully the supporters can roar the lads on like they have done in the past, particularly with a few more coming through the gates.”
