The team was Georgia Green, Sinead Bramhill, Nicole Curtis, Rachel Capsticks and Lauren Hall who played previously in the North Lincs Finals.
A school spokesman said: “The standard was so much higher than the girls had previously competed at. Most of the girls who were there were county players so the standard was very high.
“The first game didn’t go too well, losing to last year’s national finalists Wolfreton but the girls got stronger and stronger as the tournament went on eventually beating Toll Bar School.
“The team finished 3rd in the county which is an extremely good achievement.”
The final standings were: 1. Hymers, 2. Wolfreton, 3. The Axholme Academy.
