Scunthorpe United manager Brian Laws is refusing to accept his side’s relegation while there is still a chance they could escape.
Following Tuesday night’s game against relegated Bury, Laws’ men have two games - against MK Dons and Swindon Town - to save their League One status.
“It does look a difficult task now but we have got to keep believing we can do it,” Laws said, after their 1-1 draw with Walsall last weekend.
“I know the situation we are in is now difficult but we have got to believe we still have a chance of getting out of trouble.”
United have scored only once in three games, and have won only one game in their last eight.
“The goals have dried up for us now,” Laws added, “and that is really hurting us.”
