Carl Hall has praised the attitude of new signings Sam Doherty and Josh Kittrick for buying into the vision for the future of the Dons.
The former Wakefield Trinity Wildcats duo arrived at the club yesterday under the promise their games would develop under head coach Paul Cooke.
Chief executive Hall said; “The message is loud and clear. The attitude of those two boys is brilliant.
“They know that they might not play every game for us but they want to play under Paul Cooke who will develop them for years to come.
“We are looking for long term players who want to play for Doncaster in the Super League and these kids are going to be the future of the club.
“We’re looking to have a much bigger squad than we had last year and we want to send a message out; you can go out and sign proven named players, but that isn’t what Doncaster are looking at.
“We are more interested in the age of the players along with their ability.”
Kittrick is a half back while Doherty is a centre.
Doherty travelled to Australia in the summer and made an appearance for the Central Queensland Capras in the competitive Q Cup.
