Scott Buttrick’s 32 helped Crowle Outcasts’ midweek side on their way to victory over Thorne Colliery, writes Glen Sands.
The Snaith League Division One tie saw Outcasts sit in joint third with Colliery following their five-wicket win at Hirst Priory.
Thorne made 92 for 3 thanks, in the main, to Cutts’ 50no before Buttrick saw Crowle home with 32 alongside skipper Anthony Fitzgerlad who was unbeaten at the end.
Elsewhere in Division One, title holders Goole Town climbed to the top of the table following their five-wicket win over Airmyn who were bowled out for 58 before Town replied with 59 for 5.
Howden registered their first win of the season to climb off the bottom of the table when beating Askern Welfare in a tight encounter at the Ashes.
Askern scored 95 for 9 with Kaye dominating the innings with 62. Marshall took 5 for 10 for Howden who then replied with 97 for 7 - Mike Naylor hitting 23no and Harry Walker 20.
ARTHUR BRANT TROPHY 1ST ROUND
Carlton Towers took their place in the Arthur Brant Trophy semi-finals when beating Hensall by seven wickets on June 10 - restricting Hensall to 67 for 8 with Richard Whaley top scoring on 25 before easing to 71 for 3, setting-up a trip to Pollington on June 23.
