Epworth FC will be going into tonight’s crunch Sporting Club Cup final on the back of a fine league victory.
The Isle men comfortably dispatched Northern FC at the weekend to keep the pressure on the top three of Gainsborough & District Sunday League’s Division One sides.
Epworth have recorded back-to-back domestic victories since the Kings Arms Haxey defeat last month.
And tonight sees the side line up against Real Canutes in the Sporting Club Cup - a side sitting just a point ahead of Epworth in the league table.
Honours have been even for the pair in Division One this season with both picking up a win in their two meetings.
The final takes place at The Northolme, kick-off is 7pm.
