Dean Furman has declared it is business as usual for Rovers despite the heat being turned up on them from the bottom three.

Rovers sit three points clear of third bottom Millwall and four points ahead of 23rd placed Barnsley following their win over Charlton on Tuesday night.

But Furman insists Rovers’ squad remain unfazed by what is happening elsewhere and are concentrating on the task as hand.

“It’s business as usual for us and it’s still in our hands,” the South Africa international said.

“We still have Millwall to play which is a really important game for us.

“It’s this time of the season when it’s really tight.

“We’ve been in this situation before and managed to pull ourselves clear.

“We’ll be keeping our heads up and the aim to get away again.

“We’re still three points clear.

“We’ve got a massive game on Friday night on the tele and we have to be ready and prepared to get the three points.”

Furman found himself back in the starting line up following the foot injury to Richie Wellens.

He said: “It’s difficult being on the bench but you’ve got to be ready.

“I got my chance. James Husband’s just got injured so someone else will get their chance.

“The gaffer can only pick 11 players and there’s six or seven players left waiting for their chance.

“You’ve just got to be ready for that.”
