Johnsons Transport Ironstone Cup Final
East Drayton crowned their first season in the League by winning the Johnsons Transport Ironstone Cup after beating Six Bells 2–1.
East Drayton took the lead midway through the first half when Carl Bingham scored, scrambling in the goal from a corner. Nathan Patchett netted early in the second half for Six Bells and the game looked to be heading for extra time before Zak Oxby scored the winning goal for East Drayton in time added on by the referee.
DIVISION ONE
A hat trick from Wayne Graves saw College Wanderers move a point clear at the top of Division One as they beat Messingham Juniors 3–2. Doyle and Dalton scored for Messingham Juniors.
Swinefleet Juniors and Limestone Rangers shared the points as they drew 1–1 - Cohen Vause scoring for Swinefleet with S Biddle replying.
DIVISION TWO
Brumby are Division Two champions after they beat 10-man Chaplins 2–0. Broughton and Watson netted for Brumby.
Two goals from Shaw and one each for O’Callaghan and Rush saw College Wanderers Reserves beat Ashby RAOB 2–0 as Limestone Rangers Reserves lost by the odd goal in seven to Bottesford Town Reserves 4–3. C Thornton, M Sotgiu and M Stubbins scored for Limestone with two goals from Ben Chafer and one each for Andy Ridley and Lee Morfitt for Bottesford.
DIVISION THREE
Bruce FC replaced Broughton Colts at the top of the table when they beat them 2–0. Jamie Castelow and Daniel Jarvis scored for Bruce.
Despite drawing 2–2 with Luddington, Barnetby United Reserves moved back to the bottom of the table. Baxter and Cooke scored for Barnetby with Luke Easthope and Jake Walker in response for Luddington.
Two goals from Dom Bishop and one each from Jason North, Phil Cole and Paul Neal gave Briggensians only their second win of the season to move them off the bottom of the table when they beat Santon 5–2. Boreham and Altoft scored for Santon. East Drayton unfortunately missed the chance to go to the top of the table when Six Bells were unable to raise a team.
