The Academy boys travelled to John Leggott College for the competition, coming away with the coveted trophy.

Following a close and hard-fought encounter, South Axholme finished the game off in style to clinch the title with a 20-15 victory.
John Spouncer, PE teacher at the academy, told the Bells: “It’s a fantastic achievement for both the pupils and the school.”
The Epworth-based academy also have four out of the five year groups into the Scunthorpe & District Football semi-finals.
With a strong chance of silverware, the academy will have to wait and see when their semi-final matches will take place.
Meanwhile, year 11 pupil Noel Burdett played the full 90 minutes for Scunthorpe United’s reserves versus Doncaster Rovers reserves.
Playing alongside Dutch ace Etienne Esajas and coming up against Rovers’ South African midfielder Dean Furman - who recently played against Brazil - Burdett and his Scunthorpe team-mates were eventually defeated by local rivals Doncaster 4-0.
