Scunthorpe RUFC 4ths welcomed Market Rasen to Heslam Park on a cold windy afternoon, to win 36-5.
Matt Nundy set Scunthorpe off with his attacking play as Scunthorpe tried to combat the elements.
The 4ths, who welcomed back Si Downie from injury, scored first through Martyn Heathcote with a simple move as the ball was won well from a scrum.
Scunthorpe were on top but then missed the tackles as Rasen levelled proceedings.
Tony Wilkinson then powered forward but was tackled just before the line as the ball was recycled through to George Hutton who dived over. Colin Redhead converted.
Nundy took the fight to Rasen again as Scunthorpe showed their intent. They eventually crashed over through Matt Tait.
As Scunthorpe continued to attack having broken the resistance of Rasen, Michael Hanly went over following some good work throughout the forwards before Tait smashed through for his second.
Dougie Chapman rounded off the scoring going over to the right but running under the posts.
