Four goals from Ciaran Hazel helped Epworth Colts’ under-14s on their way to a comprehensive cup victory over Scotter Juniors.
The young striker opened with a neat finish after latching onto a pass from fellow frontman Bobby Foster.
Hazel then added two more for a quick-fire hat-trick in the McDonalds Challenge Cup encounter.
Cam Young scored with a long range shot before Hazel fired in his fourth, and Colts’ fifth, to take the score to 5-0.
Colts’ sixth came from an own goal after a deflection from a Mitch Fulwood cross.
Colts rounded off the scoring in the first half with a fine finish by Foster.
Within minutes of the second half, Ritchie Burdett blasted in Colts’ eighth with a powerful strike.
He later got his second and a hat-trick goal with another superb strike.
Fulwood scored the eleventh goal from the penalty spot and Foster made it twelve with a volley from a Burdett corner.
Jordan Jenkinson rounded off the scoring with a spectacular finish after a mazy, jinking run for 13-0.
