Adam Tamanis has been handed his first start for the Knights who begin life in National One on Saturday.
The youth team product goes straight into the front row at loose-head for the clash with Blackheath at Castle Park.
Just five members of last season’s squad have made it into the starting XV, highlighting the overhaul of players Clive Griffiths has fashioned at the club this summer.
Skipper Matt Challinor will once again lead the side from the second row.
Another Knights stalwart Chris Hallam will start at scrum half with Dougie Flockhart on the wing and Adam Kettle as flanker.
Tamanis will be joined in the front row by new faces Roberto Santamaria and Ross Davies who have been particularly impressive in pre-season.
Glen Bryce makes his first competitive start at full back.
